Plot

The director of the film about David Gilmour's return to the historic Circus Maximus in Rome in 2024, as part of the Luckand Strange tour—the first in almost a decade—was his longtime partner Gavin Elder.

The magnificent spectacle, captured against the backdrop of Rome's ancient ruins, combines solo tracks from David's fresh album Luckand Strange, including a stirring interpretation of the song Between Two Points performed alongside Romany Gilmour, as well as classic Pink Floyd hits such as Sorrow, High Hopes, Breathe, and Time. The concert in five cities saw tickets sell out instantly. Since no new concerts are planned for now, the film «David Gilmour Live at the Circus Maximus, Rome» is the best and only way to witness the master on stage.
