Plot

Murder, blackmail, theft, extortion — just another summer in Hollywood. Events take place in 1977, eight years after Cliff Booth's (Brad Pitt) encounter with the "Manson Family" in Quentin Tarantino's film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood — an alternate history of 1969. In the movie The New Misadventures of Cliff Booth, directed by David Fincher with a new screenplay by Tarantino, the fairy tale is over. Los Angeles no longer needs a stuntman — a hippie exterminator. But Hollywood will always have problems that require someone with the unique (sometimes extralegal) skills of Cliff. When Cliff Booth isn't making a living behind a bar or a projector, he works as a fixer — a troubleshooter for Hollywood's often dubious elite.

Cliff is intrigued by a call from agent Karen Crosby (Elizabeth Debicki) on behalf of her client — television megastar Charlie Peters (Scott Caan), known for performing his own stunts. Things get even more interesting and entertaining after meeting other characters in Charlie's world, such as his insightful wife Toni (Carla Gugino) and former football champion turned movie star, Roderick Harrison (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). And then there are the Verduzco brothers (Matt Groov and Jay B. Tadena) — enigmatic gangsters causing chaos in the city. The fairy tale has turned into a crime story — a cocktail of violence, ambition, and desires, possible only in Los Angeles.

Find out if anyone will live happily ever after in the new (and likely misfortunate) adventures of Cliff Booth on November 26 in IMAX.
