Plot

Sunny Blaze (Brad Pitt), dubbed as "The Greatest Who Never Was," was the most promising Formula-1 phenomenon in the 1990s until a crash on the track nearly ended his career. Thirty years later, he became a wandering hired driver. One day, he is approached by Ruben Servantes (Javier Bardem) – Sunny's former teammate and the owner of a Formula-1 team on the brink of collapse. Ruben convinces Sunny to return to give the team one last chance at redemption and to prove that he can still be the best in the world. His racing partner becomes Joshua Pierce (Damson Idris), a bright newcomer determined to set his own pace. But with the roar of engines, Sunny's past relentlessly catches up to him, and he realizes that in Formula-1, your teammate is your fiercest rival, and the path to redemption is impossible to walk alone.
