Plot

The first film of the trilogy about feelings (LOVE/SEX/DREAMS) by Dag Johan Haugerud. Nominated for the "Golden Lion" for Best Film at the Venice Film Festival, 2024.

Pragmatic doctor Marianne and nurse Thor meet on a ferry and start a conversation. He is here looking for random encounters and trying to avoid relationships. Upon learning about his unique approach to love and sexual relationships, Marianne begins to wonder whether Thor's philosophy will work in her own life. After all, she is also exploring the possibility of spontaneous intimacy, questioning societal norms.
