Plot

The screen adaptation of the world's best-selling novel - Frieda McFadden's "The Housemaid", which was released in 2022 and has already received two sequels - "The Housemaid's Secret" and "The Housemaid Watches". All books in the series have been successfully published in Ukraine by "Vivat". Last month, the publishing house also announced that "The Housemaid" surpassed in sales another literary hit in Ukraine, which recently received its own screen adaptation - "Leave If You Love".

A young and attractive girl, Millie (Sydney Sweeney), is tired of living in her car and surviving mainly on sandwiches, unable to find a job. So when she is offered the position of a housemaid for the wealthy Winchester family, Nina and Andrew, who live with their daughter in the suburbs, she eagerly accepts. Initially, it seems like an ideal opportunity – money, food, a roof over her head, and no one has any clue about her dark secret. What Millie doesn't realize is that in this house, she isn't the only one hiding dreadful secrets.
