Plot

What makes life worth living? In these intertwining stories, the lives of several Parisians are turned upside down when death comes knocking at their doors... A self-absorbed Italian opera singer wakes up in the sea and discovers that her death went unnoticed. A British stuntman begins to doubt his profession when his son gets into an accident. An eccentric elderly Colombian woman makes a deal with Death herself. Mari-Seriz, a depressed and oppressed teenager, tries to take her own life but instead ends up kidnapped and unexpectedly transforms her captor into a psychoanalyst. Edouard, who hosts a popular criminal television show, feels uneasy when reminded of his mortality... As each character tries to reconnect with what matters most, the city of light, love and boundless possibilities shines brighter than ever before.
