Plot

Young Gerda sets off into the unknown in search of her friend Kay, who mysteriously disappeared. During her journey, Gerda befriends birds, animals, and a kind witch. She has no idea that the Snow Queen and her pupil are watching her. The evil queen is holding Kay captive in her icy palace in the north. Together, Gerda and Kay break free from her clutches and return home for the happiest winter holidays.
