Plot

American superhero black comedy. A reboot of the 1984 film of the same name and the fifth installment in the "The Toxic Avenger" film series. The producers of the film are Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz, who directed all the previous films in the series.

The film's events unfold in a fantastical world around Winston (Peter Dinklage), a typical weakling who works as a janitor at a fitness club. Doctors discover he has a terminal illness that requires expensive treatment, but his greedy employer refuses to pay. Tired of waiting, Winston decides to take matters into his own hands and rob the company. However, during the attempt, he falls into a vat of toxic waste, which changes him forever. He transforms into a new kind of hero: the Toxic Avenger. Now, Toxie must become a savior and stand against ruthless corporate overlords and corrupt forces that threaten his son, friends, and community. In a world ruled by greed... justice is best delivered radioactively.
