Trailer

Plot

The biographical documentary film tells the story of "Okean Elzy" — the leading band of independent Ukraine. The film combines unique archives, unknown facts, and sincere memories of those who shaped and developed the group whose songs have become symbols of freedom, love, and struggle.

This is a frank tale of musical achievements, incredible popularity alongside conflicts, breakups, and historical challenges faced by the country.
Among the key events are the first steps in Lviv, when the band was not taken seriously; the move to Kyiv; the release of iconic albums; changes in the band lineup; the journey to the country’s largest stadiums and world-renowned venues. Also featured are the creation of songs that became true popular hits; major tours; participation in two revolutions, and support for Ukrainians during the war.
