Plot

In the name of protecting economic recovery from the threat of future pandemics, the Brazilian Government has created a system of sending anyone over 80 to purpose built colonies for "their wellbeing". Teresa 77 lives in an industrialized town in the Amazon and is surprised when the age is reduced to 75. She decides to defy her fate and embarks on a clandestine journey down the rivers and tributaries of the Amazon, turning this turbulent time into an impulse to fulfill a lifelong dream.
